The two cast iron and copper forms pay homage to my own traumatic brain injury. Eidetic refers to a photographic memory, with its most complete form and warmer colors in the cord and thread. Lethologica refers to the phenomenon of a word on the tip of your tongue, as the piece has lost most of its structure and is seemingly held together with the yarn and cord. Together the 3D wall hangings acknowledge a past trauma while celebrating my own personal growth into my future self.
