Showing stress in a physical form, the figure is almost completely covered to hide from all of the anxieties around it. The broken ceramic piece trail with the outlines of footprints represent the past journey of the figure, while the pieces in the base now confine it. As the original huddled figure, the Hive Mind installations were based on the form created in this piece and the figure and ceramic shards have been used in multiple different installations.
