The Stage is Set
Faux fur props, wax hands, acrylic beads, and photography equipment create an empty photo studio scene inspired from my own background in theater. Viewers find their own distorted reflection in the mirror upon closer inspection, and right where the camera on the tripod would record them or take their picture, the staged environment becomes increasingly more unnerving to highlight similar effects of disassociation.
